Barrows

The barrows brothers have finally decided to visit us over here in Athens, below I will detail how barrows will work and what you need to do to complete your barrows minigame.

How to access barrows
To get to barrows, you will need to do ctrl + T or click the T under the minimap and go to minigame then click barrows to get there.


You will get an option with the following, Easy, Medium & Hard.

As you have just begun your journey you will only be able to click Easy.

 

10 Easy = Medium
30 Medium = Hard
Map

Each brother will have a room that never changes
North = Dharok The Wretched
East = Torag The Corrupted
South = Ahrim The Blighted
West = Karil The Tainted

Mechanics

- You cannot use Soulsplit in the barrows minigame.  

- Barrows act as an instance so you will have to have unlocked the ability to use your pet in an instance, through the pet grinder.

 

Each run, a random room will be selected. When you dig in this room, a brother won’t spawn or need to be killed. Instead, you will get a master key.

The other rooms will give you a note corresponding to the brother you killed. (dharoks note, ahrims note, torag note, karil note)

If you get a master key, you can skip right to opening the chest in the middle. The notes are not required to open the chest.  You can only get one master key per run.  Once you open the chest, the key and all notes in their inventory will get deleted and a boss will spawn. 

Once the boss is killed, click on the chest again for your loot.

Medium Barrows
 

This will work exactly as explained above except:

 

- Each boss will have a higher HP

- Each of the four brother rooms will contain 3 - 5 skeletons at their rooms.  You will have to kill all of the skeletons before spawning the Barrows Brothers.

 

Hard Barrows
 

This will work exactly as explained above except:
 

-Each boss will have a higher HP than medium

-When digging the selected room, before players get the master key, they have to kill the akrisae brother.

-When players kill the akrisae boss they will get an akrisae note.  You will have to dig the mound that spawned Akrisae again to get the Master Key. 

-With hard difficulty if players kill all brothers. They have a chance at being able to get 4 notes instead of just 3 (dharoks note, ahrims note, torag, karil, and Akrisae will replace one of these at random).

 

This will have a different loot table compared to Easy/Medium difficulty BUT the mechanics will work the same regarding the notes. With an akrisae note, players will unlock a chance at getting an akrisae loot table.
