Ban, Weapon Balancing, King/Vorkath Changes, And Much More

Hello and welcome to the latest update thread!

This update we have quite a few changes coming.  We have balanced some of the combat styles to make them more comparable to each other.  We also went back in and tweaked Hard Mode Vorkath's Drop Table and much more.  Along with that we are introducing the next 7DS boss into the game Ban.  We hope you enjoy this update!

 

To unlock this boss, it will require you to obtain Scroll fragments that drops from Zamorak (Hard).  This will be the teleport needed to take on Ban!

Here are the forges for each part!  

 

 

Sin of Greed Part 1 (Forge in Misc - 2x Zamorak Helm + Scroll Fragment) 

Sin of Greed Part 2 (Forge in Misc - 2x Zamorak Body + Scroll Fragment) 

Sin of Greed Part 3 (Forge in Misc - 2x Zamorak Legs + Scroll Fragment) Sin of Sloth Scroll 

 To make the scroll for the unlock you need to forge all the 3 pieces together.

 

Ban

There are 2 difficulties to this solo only boss fight. Easy Mode, and Hard Mode. 

 

Ban Easy Mode Mechanics

Ban Easy Mode has 4M hp

*Note you do not need 3 combat styles*

Ban has two attacks:

-A melee basic attack, which you can avoid by moving

-A magic basic attack

Chance to drop your prayers

- Halfway through the fight, a fountain will spawn in the south and the player must kill it before Ban gets there and heals himself to full health.

The last mechanic is a portal will spawn and you will need to run into the portal to avoid extra damage.

Ban Hard Mode Mechanics

Ban Attacks (Hard): - Same attacks as Easy but deals more damage + more HP. 

-Hard mode Ban has 6.5M hp.

-Ban Hard Mode also has a few new mechanics also

-The portal mechanic will also deal more damage.  It will have a chance of one hitting you

- Drains prayer points
- Every 1/4th of Ban’s hp, a fountain will spawn, and the player must kill it before Ban gets there and heals himself to full health.

Armor Set And Stats

Ban Set Bonus

Ban set Including Boots and Gloves

Ban Boots, and Gloves fall under the Vulcan Accessory set bonus like Kings did.

 

The (Trace) Ban Armor, that is dropped from Ban Easy Mode, can be made into (Broken) Ban Armor by using a the same Zamorak item, +250 King Insignia, and 250 Token Of Immortality.

You are then able to forge the broken armor into the fixed equivalent in the forge.

Vote Dungeon
Every time players vote they’ll be given 2 vote minigame teleports, along with 2 Vote Scrolls. These teleports can be used to teleport to a dungeon with trolls.

Once the dungeon is cleared players can search the grain of plenty for a reward.

Misc Changes/Qol

-We have balanced magic to be on par with range.

 

-We are currently improving the Drop Rate System. You may see some buffs at some npc's. We are monitoring the system and this may be altered again in the future.

 

-King's Hp has been dropped to 4m on Easy Mode and to 6m on Hard Mode.

 

-Nomad World Boss has been fixed and is now in multi-combat.

 

-You also no longer need 3 combat styles for King.

 

-Vorago raids has had a req of 100 Adv Blood Raids and 100 Adv Vorago raids to Telos Raids.

 

-We have heard the feedback on the recent addition to Vorkath's Drop Table, the Sin Of Sloth Fragments, being a little too infrequent of a drop, so we decided to buff the drop chance of the fragments.  Zamorak's Drop Table has been adjusted also as shown above.
