Hello!
My name is Rob and my IGN is Grave,
I have played this server for about 24 hours so far and I have had a few issues when learning the server that I believe can be streamlined with just a few changes.
I also would like to say that these are simply suggestions, not demands or inadequacies. They are just a few tips that may improve the experience
1. An AthensPS guide/guidebook.
This may seem like a simple one, but I had no idea how to answer trivia questions, teleport to the afk area, or even begin training, I had to ask around to the other kind members of the server to find my bearings. I feel that a lot of those simple questions about where things are generally at Home would really help the beginner player get around.
2. Abaddon Sword addition in the 1bil ticket shop
I believe this may be a no brainer, but the abaddon sword is the earliest in-game melee item that feels like it can compare to a low-tier range item like the minigun. If Abaddon sword is added to the 1bil shop, I think it may even out the early-game balance of mage/range/melee.
3. Server Tools tab merge with Achievements.
I cannot explain the frustration I had when trying to find the "Tools" menu which happened to be located on the gear icon on the server tab. In the bottom right hand corner we have achievements, and to be honest I do not find myself looking for them whatsoever, so why not move the entire server tools tab to where the achievements are listed, then adding another button on the server tools page for "Achievements" since the server tools tab holds all the tasks.
4. Starter Task Rework
Who. The. Hell. Is. Skilling.
I dont see a single person on this server skilling in any way shape or form unless they are on AFK island or running a raid.
Mine 100 Rune Ores
Burn 1000 Logs
Cook 250 Sharks
Fish 250 Sharks
should all be replaced with useful beginning tasks, like Killing the ::Train monsters, each one having their own requirement. 10/25/50 kills whatever seems fair.
I dont see myself completing the starter tasks whatsoever, and I dont think many other people do either. I believe it may be dead content.
5. Implement Tier lists.
Tier lists are on the forums and on the wiki, and yet there are questions about whats better constantly in the help cc, maybe instead of an item comparer, a tier list of sorts, showing what armor sets are hybrid, what are melee, what are mage, what are range and where they rank compared to other sets
Same with weapons, all seperated by combat style, this would help people get a clear goal of what they are going for next, especially on a server with TONS of customs.
