This update will focus on some backend changes along with the monthly Passboss and some changes to it also!

Season Pass 6 table:

Pass Boss Changes:
We have decided to remove the 'teleport to passboss to get additional loot' system and changed it to something similar to the seasonal superiors that were around (Spring, Summer, Autum, Winter)
Now once you have reached level 50 in the Free to Play Season Pass you will get random spawns as you do your normal PvM activities so you could be doing slayer and still participate in the Season Pass as an F2P.

Once you have completed level 50 of the Paid Season Pass you will be able to get the paid version of the Pass boss spawn randomly as you do other things.

Welcome to the latest instalment of updates to Athens. In this update we will be introducing Fight Caves, and also an Elizabeth Slayer Boss.

Fight Caves:
TzTok-Jad is the boss monster of the TzHaar Fight Cave, and is encountered on Wave 63 (the final wave). This is the only place where Jad can be found.

Once TzTok-Jad is reached, fighting and defeating him requires decent skill and reflexes. It is possible to engage TzTok-Jad using Melee, but it is more difficult to switch between the Protect from Melee, Protect from Missiles, and Protect from Magic prayers. TzTok-Jad only uses Ranged and Magic attacks at a distance, however. As he is resistant to Melee, using Ranged/Mage to attack him is recommended.

TzTok-Jad has a very long attack range, much like the Tok-Xil encountered earlier on in the Fight Cave. A very useful tip is knowing where Jad will spawn in this case the middle of the fight caves. This will allow you to prepare accordingly to prevent Jad from launching a surprise attack.

TzTok-Jad will use attacks at random. It is critical that players know the warning signs for these attacks and switch between the protection prayers accordingly before the attack launches:

With Fight Caves, there are 3 different difficulties.
Easy: 1-20 Waves
Medium: 1-40 Waves
Hard: 1-63 Waves

The way to get to Fight Caves is through the Minigame Tab in the Teleports Menu.

Once you are there, you will teleport in front of the Cave Entrance. You will not be able to enter the Minigame with items in your inventory. You will need to bank all your items.

As you enter the Cave you will get a Fight Caves Box in your inventory. This box will contain 2 Overload Potions, 11 Super Restores and 14 Saradomin Brews

Please note, in the Cave fight you will not have access to Cursed Prayers.

General Mechanics:
As you enter, run towards the middle of the Map.
P.S. If you would like to leave at any point you can do so at the North East section of the Cave.

Once you have the above 3 items they can be upgraded to a T13 and then also a T16 variant. You can get the upgrade materials from defeating Jad at a chance from his drop table.
The items he will drop to upgrade are the Raw Tokkul T13 and Raw Tokkul T16.
You will need to use the T13 Raw Tokkul to Upgrade the T10 items from above:

Elizabeth Boss:
So you remember the Slayer Key PT.1 (Obtained from Normal Slayer Dungeon), Slayer Key PT.2 (Obtained from Prestige Slayer Dungeon) and Slayer Key PT.3 (Obtained from Olympus Slayer Dungeon)?
Well now to use them! You will need to combine all 3 of the keys to get a Slayer Boss Key.

Easy: Requires no Slayer Boss Key
Medium: Requires 1 Slayer Boss Key
Hard: Requires 1 Slayer Boss Key

With the addition of the Elizabeth Boss, you will now be able to get the Lostvayne Jewel T16 and also the Lostvayne Jewel T17 from the Medium and Hard modes respectively which will then be able to be used on the Demonsword Lostvayne T13. You will need to do the T16 variant first, and then the T17 variant.

Easy mode will still only have 1 fountain spawn

We have also added a small healing mechanic to Diane and King throughout the battle.

QOL:
-Added Magma Gear to the 1T shop at ::ckey
-Added the Eternal Slayer Gems to include the dungeon teleports of respective slayer task unlocks for Regular/Prestige Slayer Dungeons (Olympus tasks will take you to Typhon Zone)
-The de-spawn timer for the Treasure Goblin at Prestige Slayer Dungeon has now been fixed and will disappear in the time it was meant to
-The Slaughter Buff and Expeditious Bracelets have been fixed and will now work as intended
-We have added the ability to sell the Owner Token +1 and Owner Token +2 back to the Owner Shop
-Greater Cerb and Greater Heph will now be unlocked with the T14 unlock from Olympus Slayer Dungeon along with their respective unlocks (Vulcan Scroll and Magma Scroll. If you have already claimed the T14 Unlock, you will have the NPC's unlocked already.

We have done a bit of a cleanup in the Kuradel Slayer Shop - Removed some bloat in there and adjusted the prices on all the items in the Kuradel Slayer Shop.

Treasure Goblin:
While you are in the Prestige Slayer Dungeon you will randomly have a Slayer Goblin Spawn! This goblin will drop you some additional juicy loot as you are progression through your task in the Dungeon.
The Mechanics of the goblin are simple, but not stand there and attack simple. The goblin will run away and also teleport away to another area in the dungeon if you don't kill it quick enough so be sure to keep a lookout!

Athens Happy Hour:
The Happy Hour event is a Paid event where the Server will have a random benefit added for a total of an hour.

How to activate Happy Hour:
You will need to go to ::customwell and pay a fee of 250m. It's located at the bottom of the ::customwell

The events that appear will rotate between the below events. As the name implies, they will be active for 1 hour and will have a cooldown of 2 hours before it can be activated again.

Welcome to the latest update for Athens! In this update we are going to focus on Dailies, QOL, Owner Gear Changes etc..

Owner Gear:

We have made improvements to the Owner Gear. This is both looks and stats! Owner Gear can now be upgraded to Owner +1 which is Tier 17 stats, and also Owner +2 which is Tier 18 Stats

New Look Owner Gear:

The changes will automatically apply to the owner gear automatically in game with how it looks.

Owner +1 (Tier 17)
You will now be able to upgrade your owner gear to Tier 17!
To do so you will need to purchase Owner +1 Tokens from the Owner Shop. The Owner Shop is located at the Owner Boss Teleport. The price is 400q tickets for a single +1 Token.
Another way to get the Owner +1 tokens is to right click an owner piece and select 'dismantle' which will give you 15 Owner +1 Tokens.

To upgrade:
You will need to use an Owner +1 token on an Owner Piece. This is not a 100% chance at getting the upgrade. You will have 4 options at the upgrade to +1:

-1 Token for a 5% chance to upgrade your owner piece to +1
-2 Tokens for a 10% chance to upgrade your owner piece to +1
-5 Tokens for a 25% Chance to upgrade your owner piece to +1
-10 Tokens for a 50% chance to upgrade your owner piece to +1

Please note: You will not lose your owner items if you fail. You will only lose the token amount that you use.

Owner +1 (Tier 17) Stats:

You will now be able to upgrade your owner gear to Tier 18!
To do so you will need to purchase Owner +2 Tokens from the Owner Shop. The price is 600q tickets for a single +2 Token.

You will need to use an Owner +2 token on an Owner +1 Piece. This is not a 100% chance at getting the upgrade. You will have 4 options at the upgrade to +2:

-2 Tokens for a 10% chance to upgrade your owner piece +1 to +2
-5 Tokens for a 25% Chance to upgrade your owner piece +1 to +2

-Fixed an issue where Nex would stop attacking you while in the Raid
-Added Infused Telos Shards to the 1T shop at ::ckey
-Added all T13 7ds gear to the 1T shop at ::ckey
-Increased the size of all the Nex Minions
-Adjusted the rate for the Ancient Weapon Icon from the Nex Reward Key to be 1/2000 instead of 1/3500
-The minions despawning at elite Godwars was fixed
-You are no longer able to use Godwars keys in raids to avoid losing your keys
- ::togglebox will remove all non announced loot messages from all boxes excluding slot boxes and donator caskets.

We have added new raids to push the progression further past tier 15. We have now also introduced tier 16 and tier 17 into Athens. This will be a grind but will be so worth while!

Requirements for Nex Raids:

Nex Raids can be accessed via the Minigame Tab in the teleport interface:

Once you teleport in you will be in the Nex Lobby. Here, you will need to create a party through the Raids Icon. Once you have created a party, you will be able to enter the Nex Raid through the Purple Portal west of the lobby.

You will have a Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Difficulty.

Beginner will drop 1 Nex Reward Key
Intermediate will drop 2 Nex Reward Keys
Advanced will drop 1 Attuned Reward Key and 2 Nex Reward Keys

The Raid:
P.S: The more you have in your party, the more the damage from Nex and the Health of Nex and the Minions will scale depending on party size. Max party size is 5.

Once you enter the raid you will start at the east of the room. Nex will be waiting for you in the middle. Nex isn't aggro until you attack him.

There will be stages throughout the raid and 4 minions will spawn once the health of Nex drops by every quarter health.
Order:
Fumus - South East corner of the map. Once you kill Fumus, go back and continue attacking Nex

In this guide we go through the latest progression for Tier 15 Gear on Athens.

You will be able to get to Elite Godwars by using the teleport menu.

Basic mechanics

You will need to get 40 minion kc each to enter the boss room.

Once you kill the Godwars boss you will be teleported out and will need to get 40 kc again or use the Boss key to get back in the room.
You can stack up your kills depending on your Olympus Donator Rank. The max cap for stacking your kills is 200.
Typhon Rank: 80 Cap
Olympian Rank: 120 Cap
Titan Rank: 160 Cap

Bandos

Bandos will drop the new T15 Melee set and weapon. There will be three minions located in the first room.

Welcome to the latest installment of updates!
In this update, we are going to be focusing on our new Seasonal Pass, Raids improvements to bridge the gap, and some QOL.

Seasonal Pass:
We have now introduced a Seasonal Pass system into Athens for some juicy rewards based on your activity in the game.

There is going to be a free to play path and a pay to play path for this.
As you do certain activities on Athens you will gain F2P XP (Silver Level). There are 50 different levels to go through until you reach the end. Once you claim the Gold Season Scroll, you will unlock the Gold Level of the Seasonal Pass and will be up to the level that the Silver Level was up to at the time of claiming.
How to get the Gold Season Pass:
It's available from the Athens Web store for $50.

To open the Season Pass interface you will need to use CTRL+X on your keyboard.
When you get loot from the Season Pass it will automatically go to your bank. If you have a full bank tab, the loot will go to your inventory. If your inventory is full, the loot will drop to the floor.

How to gain Seasonal Pass XP:
You can click on the 'Information' button on the bottom left of the season pass window to see the ways you can gain exp:

Everytime you gain Pass exp it will show in the Chat Box as below:

Once you have completed Level 50 of the F2P Season Pass you will receive a Box of Luxury
Once you have completed Level 50 of the P2P Season Pass you will receive a Heart Icon

The Heart Icon Aura is a Tier 10 item that will be equipped to your ammo slot

There are bonus stats in the heart icon:
- 5% Damage
- 50% DR
- 10% SoulSplit Bonus
The extra damage, DR, and Soulsplit Bonus won't be applied unless you have level 50 of the current battle pass completed.

P.S: This month will be a heart themed reward for February, next month will be a different themed reward etc.. If you have an aura from the previous month, it will roll over to the new theme but will not have the Level 50 bonuses until you complete the next battle pass.

An additional reward for finishing level 50 and claiming the Season Pass Scroll you will have access to the season pass boss. He will automatically respawn every 7 seconds while in the room.
At home you can walk west and you will be able to find the Season Boss Portal

Raids Improvements:

The first thing we have done to help with getting into Raids is removed the KC amount to get into it. Now, the way to get into Raids you will need to have a minimum of the specific Olympus Rank to get into it.

Telos Raids: Requires Monarch Olympian Rank, 250 combat prestige. For telos raids you will only unlock easy difficulty. To get to advanced you will still need:

50 intermediate to get into advanced

All raids are now going to have a loot system similar to how Telos Raids work.
Across the board, the key rewards are:

Hard: 3 Keys

As you click on the Quick-Open option you will be opening up to 10 at a time.

Relic gear has it's standard Set Bonus as per ::sets but it has a hidden bonus.
Each piece of gear that you equip will add:
2% Damage Bonus
20% Drop Rate Bonus

QOL:
-Diane Hitbox has been changed and is now smaller than what it was fixing the issues that were causing Melee Styles to not work properly on Diane.

-Changed Boss Timers to roughly 7 secs for - Heph, Cerb, 7ds bosses
-Changed Iron Bosses respawn to 11 Secs down from 30
-Changed Keys in Treasure vault to E Keys
-Decreased the Sacred Stone Drop chance from 7DS Hard Bosses from 1/250000 to 1/230000 chance. (Base drop rate)
-Changed ::freecash to give the following:

Welcome to the latest Athens update. This update will be heavily focused around Prestige Slayer.
Updates should be a bit more frequent in the coming weeks, we have a few content team meetings coming up one of which is starting tonight. I want to apologize for the lack of content in the latest few updates and we will work at getting bigger updates going soon.

Pet Grinder and Instances:
We have added more pets in the Pet Grinder (Tier 9,10,11)
These additions will require you to grind a pet of the same tier to enable use of it in an Instance.
Zombie Slayer Pets, and Owner Pet is not affected by this restriction

Tier 9:
Each pet Grinded in Tier 9 will give 240 Points Per Pet.
Pets: King, Ban Diane.

Tier 10:
Each Pet Grinded in Tier 10 will give 360 Points Per Pet
Pets : King (Superior), Ban (Superior), Diane (Superior)

Tier 11:
Each pet Grinded in Tier 11 will give 540 Points per Pet
Pet: Goddess Elizabeth Pet.
Please note: To be able to use the Goddess Elizabeth Pet in instances, you will need to only grind One Tier 10 Pet to enable Goddess Elizabeth Pet it in instances along with 2700 points.

Owner Pet:
We have now added an Owner Pet to Athens. This is the BIS Pet obtainable. It can be obtained through the Diamond Donator Caskets as a jackpot item at a 1/1000 rate.
The Owner Pet can be used anywhere and is not locked behind Instance Requirements.

Droprate: 500%
All Damage Bonus: 50%

QOL:
-Fixed the Justiciar Teleport Location
-Added 7DS Pets and Broken Slayer Helms to their respective Collogs

-Added the ability to use any Santa on Owner Slayer Helm or Owner Slayer + helm.

Would be a lot of spam unless the devs figure out a way that the spawns don't happen too close to eachother? Like code it so they are always 5 mins apart from the last event spawn or something?

It would be good to see a 1 minute alert come up in the cc for an event boss about to spawn. It could show up something like:
Event News: ::tectboss will spawn in 1 minute!
Event News: ::titanboss will spawn in 1 minute!
Event News: ::delboss will spawn in 1 minute!

I think doing this will give player the heads up and get to the event boss in time before the spawn.

Nothing, just creates an extra operation to the "Operate" button on the gloves.

What is your suggestion?
When selecting "Operate" on the gloves which you have attached the slayer gloves attachment to while not on task to teleport you to your slayer master.
So will be:
When on task teleport to task.
When not on task teleport to slayer master.

Also as a side note, the operate function for the gloves only seem to take you to the places where the npc's are found in the teleport menu for prestige slayer. I believe it's because it's a new zone and wasn't coded for the gloves yet but would be good to see that the operate function teleports you to the prestige npc's found in the prestige slayer zone portal.

To help with getting more cash flow into the economy we have introduced a new 1T shop at ::ckey and at ::iron

Prestige Slayer (Kuradel) has been revamped to include correct Prestige Bosses:

Bloodshot slayer helmet

We have added 3 varients to the bloodshot slayer helmet

Added 3 types of bloods to go with the varient

Bloodshot helmet plus omni boss head = the varient of omni slayer helm.

Magic staffs/spells fixed to make them progressively better as you get better magic wepons.

Raised task amount for prestige slayer tasks

New staff commands have been added to move people to afk

Boss points have been added to electric wizards and ugly ant man

Uber & Deluxe boss slight changes to drops

Roof issue for Lzone has been fixed

Fixed examine on electric robes to show the right information

Welcome to the most anticipated update for Athens and most definitely the biggest one to date.

We are excited to show you the work we have done and for you to finally play! So without further adieu see all the latest changes below!

New Home redesign and Area Change!

New POS & Banking area in the middle of the home area:

Item Upgrader has been replaced by the Upgrade Statues found south of ::home
Left click to Upgrade
Right Click > Select Forge to forge items

Treasure hunter Chest
Slightly north east of the banking area.

The currencies used for the Treasure Chest are:

These currencies are only obtainable through donating.

You have the option of doing a "Quick Spin" or a "Spin". There is no difference of reward in the two modes, just one is faster than the other.

Rewards: (Can be seen by selecting the Rarity Colours at the top of the screen)

A variety of Melee Boost, Ranged Boost, Magic Boosts, and Trybrid Boosts. When using these if you use two of the same it will restart the timer. You CANNOT stack 5% melee with 10% melee, etc... These range from 5% to 15%

You can set your Favourites to use for quick teleporting now too. All the different teleport options are along the top.

New Omni Fragment and Broken Pieces

Vorkath, K'ril, Zammy will now drop broken pieces.
The fragments will be used to fix the broken pieces.

Vorkath drops K'ril and Zammy Fragments,
K'ril will drop Zammy and Vorkath Fragments,
Zammy will drop Vorkath and K'ril Fragments

Max Hit Bonus

You can now see your max hit on the Equipment bonuses

Hope Items

Elite hope and hope crystal.

Must use hope piece, hope crystal, elite angelic piece for that item (ie elite angelic helm+hope helm+45t)

Hope Raids:

Hope Raids is a replacement of the Solo Raids. You can do this with teammates.
To get there, type ::hoperaids.
There are different difficulties for the raid, choose from Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced.

Blood Raids:

Bloodraids is the new replacement to Survivor Raids!
There are different difficulties for Bloodraids. Chose either Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Bloodraids can be accessed by typing ::bloodraids

Kill all the Minions that have a Red Ring around them. Each phase has a certain amount of Mages to kill before you can attack the boss.
First Wave:
Fighting against the Sanguinesti Sorcerer.
Second Wave:
Fighting against Lord Vitur.
Third and Final Wave:
Fighting against the Blood Ranger.

NPC Changes

Oreo
Oreo now has a Sword, Shield, Staff, and Bow which is dropped at the following rates:
Dark Warrior - New NPC added to Athens
Infernal Rangers - New NPC added to Athens
Athens Ranger - New NPC added to Athens
Rainbow Rex
Now has a sword and shield to follow progression
Sagittare
Now drops it's own ranged set and weapon.
Wizard of trident has had a new Makeover
Angry Rex
Now has a shield and sword drop to follow progression
Abaddon now drops the Full Demonic Set

New Void weapons and Amulets

The two pieces together have a set bonus of 5% Damage

Void Melee Set Bonus:
+100 Accuracy bonuses and +100 Str Bonus per piece
+1000 Str Bonus for all 5 pieces equipped
Void Magic Set Bonus:
+100 Accuracy bonuses and +1% Magic Damage per piece.
+10% Magic Damage for all 5 pieces equipped.
Void Range Set Bonus:
+200 Accuracy bonuses and +20 Range Strength per piece.
+200 Range Strength for all 5 pieces equipped.
Elite Void Set Bonus:
+120 all Melee Accuracy, +120 Magic Accuracy, +240 Ranged Accuracy and +120 Melee Str, +2% Magic Damage, +24 Ranged Strength per Piece
+1200 Str Bonus, +12% Magic Damage, +240 Ranged Strength for all 5 piece equipped.

New Slayer Update!

Slayer Masters:
::changebravek is no longer used.

This means you can get an easy task from Duradel and the quantity will be doubled or tripled etc.

Item Grinder

The Item Grinder is found to the north east room of ::home

This has the chance of giving you:
$50 or $100 goodiebag box,
700T cash,
Vorkath/k'ril/Zammy shard,
Or fail.
The rate of failure is 10%.

If you use 5 shards, you get the Seismic weapon for that style. Vorkath Seismic Bow, K'ril Seismic maul, Zammy Seismic wand.

The item grinder also does the Blood Raid items for $50 or $100 goodiebag box, 400T cash, and with 5 you get the K'ril/Vorkath/Zammy item corresponding to that item.

You can also use Vindictive pieces on the item grinder. What this does is give you either a $50 goodiebag box, $100 goodiebag box, or ie Vindictive helm turns into crystal helm.

MISC Changes

::thread is now usable from in-game when searching for a guide or post on the forums. Just type ::thread 3519 (Example) and it will take you to Forums Post Number 3519
Human Pet and Human Pet Superior has been fixed and will now attack with you.
Can new view your DropRate on items in the NPC Drop Table Checker. Tick the "Display w/ Drop Rate Bonus" on the top left.
