Welcome to the latest instalment of updates to Athens. In this update we will be introducing Fight Caves, and also an Elizabeth Slayer Boss. Fight Caves: TzTok-Jad is the boss monster of the TzHaar Fight Cave, and is encountered on Wave 63 (the final wave). This is the only place where Jad can be found. Once TzTok-Jad is reached, fighting and defeating him requires decent skill and reflexes. It is possible to engage TzTok-Jad using Melee, but it is more difficult to switch between the Protect from Melee, Protect from Missiles, and Protect from Magic prayers. TzTok-Jad only uses Ranged and Magic attacks at a distance, however. As he is resistant to Melee, using Ranged/Mage to attack him is recommended. TzTok-Jad has a very long attack range, much like the Tok-Xil encountered earlier on in the Fight Cave. A very useful tip is knowing where Jad will spawn in this case the middle of the fight caves. This will allow you to prepare accordingly to prevent Jad from launching a surprise attack. TzTok-Jad will use attacks at random. It is critical that players know the warning signs for these attacks and switch between the protection prayers accordingly before the attack launches: With Fight Caves, there are 3 different difficulties. Easy: 1-20 Waves Medium: 1-40 Waves Hard: 1-63 Waves The way to get to Fight Caves is through the Minigame Tab in the Teleports Menu. Once you are there, you will teleport in front of the Cave Entrance. You will not be able to enter the Minigame with items in your inventory. You will need to bank all your items. As you enter the Cave you will get a Fight Caves Box in your inventory. This box will contain 2 Overload Potions, 11 Super Restores and 14 Saradomin Brews Please note, in the Cave fight you will not have access to Cursed Prayers. General Mechanics: As you enter, run towards the middle of the Map. P.S. If you would like to leave at any point you can do so at the North East section of the Cave. This goblin will drop you some additional juicy loot as you are progression through your task in the Dungeon. The Mechanics of the goblin are simple, but not stand there and attack simple. The goblin will run away and also teleport away to another area in the dungeon if you don't kill it quick enough so be sure to keep a lookout! Drop Table: Athens Happy Hour: The Happy Hour event is a Paid event where the Server will have a random benefit added for a total of an hour. How to activate Happy Hour: You will need to go to ::customwell and pay a fee of 250m. It's located at the bottom of the ::customwell The events that appear will rotate between the below events. As the name implies, they will be active for 1 hour and will have a cooldown of 2 hours before it can be activated again. This is both looks and stats! Owner Gear can now be upgraded to Owner +1 which is Tier 17 stats, and also Owner +2 which is Tier 18 Stats New Look Owner Gear: The changes will automatically apply to the owner gear automatically in game with how it looks. Owner +1 (Tier 17) You will now be able to upgrade your owner gear to Tier 17! To do so you will need to purchase Owner +1 Tokens from the Owner Shop. The Owner Shop is located at the Owner Boss Teleport. The price is 400q tickets for a single +1 Token. Another way to get the Owner +1 tokens is to right click an owner piece and select 'dismantle' which will give you 15 Owner +1 Tokens. To upgrade: You will need to use an Owner +1 token on an Owner Piece. This is not a 100% chance at getting the upgrade. You will have 4 options at the upgrade to +1: -1 Token for a 5% chance to upgrade your owner piece to +1 -2 Tokens for a 10% chance to upgrade your owner piece to +1 -5 Tokens for a 25% Chance to upgrade your owner piece to +1 -10 Tokens for a 50% chance to upgrade your owner piece to +1 Please note: You will not lose your owner items if you fail. Welcome to the latest installment of updates! In this update, we are going to be focusing on our new Seasonal Pass, Raids improvements to bridge the gap, and some QOL. Seasonal Pass: We have now introduced a Seasonal Pass system into Athens for some juicy rewards based on your activity in the game. There is going to be a free to play path and a pay to play path for this. As you do certain activities on Athens you will gain F2P XP (Silver Level). There are 50 different levels to go through until you reach the end. Once you claim the Gold Season Scroll, you will unlock the Gold Level of the Seasonal Pass and will be up to the level that the Silver Level was up to at the time of claiming. How to get the Gold Season Pass: It's available from the Athens Web store for $50. To open the Season Pass interface you will need to use CTRL+X on your keyboard. When you get loot from the Season Pass it will automatically go to your bank. If you have a full bank tab, the loot will go to your inventory. If your inventory is full, the loot will drop to the floor. How to gain Seasonal Pass XP: You can click on the 'Information' button on the bottom left of the season pass window to see the ways you can gain exp: Everytime you gain Pass exp it will show in the Chat Box as below: Once you have completed Level 50 of the F2P Season Pass you will receive a Box of Luxury Once you have completed Level 50 of the P2P Season Pass you will receive a Heart Icon The Heart Icon Aura is a Tier 10 item that will be equipped to your ammo slot There are bonus stats in the heart icon: - 5% Damage - 50% DR - 10% SoulSplit Bonus The extra damage, DR, and Soulsplit Bonus won't be applied unless you have level 50 of the current battle pass completed. Would be a lot of spam unless the devs figure out a way that the spawns don't happen too close to eachother? Like code it so they are always 5 mins apart from the last event spawn or something?

I think doing this will give player the heads up and get to the event boss in time before the spawn.

When selecting "Operate" on the gloves which you have attached the slayer gloves attachment to while not on task to teleport you to your slayer master. So will be: When on task teleport to task. When not on task teleport to slayer master. Also as a side note, the operate function for the gloves only seem to take you to the places where the npc's are found in the teleport menu for prestige slayer. I believe it's because it's a new zone and wasn't coded for the gloves yet but would be good to see that the operate function teleports you to the prestige npc's found in the prestige slayer zone portal.

This would break slayer imo and create more ways to skip over the crappy tasks you don't want.

New POS & Banking area in the middle of the home area: Altar Area to the east of ::home General Shops to the North West Slayer Masters to the North Item Upgrader has been replaced by the Upgrade Statues found south of ::home Left click to Upgrade Right Click > Select Forge to forge items Treasure hunter Chest Slightly north east of the banking area. The currencies used for the Treasure Chest are: Treasure Keys Treasure Crystal These currencies are only obtainable through donating. You have the option of doing a "Quick Spin" or a "Spin". There is no difference of reward in the two modes, just one is faster than the other. Rewards: (Can be seen by selecting the Rarity Colours at the top of the screen) Red: (The rewards for the Red Crystal is not completed.) The item grinder also does the Blood Raid items for $50 or $100 goodiebag box, 400T cash, and with 5 you get the K'ril/Vorkath/Zammy item corresponding to that item. You can also use Vindictive pieces on the item grinder. What this does is give you either a $50 goodiebag box, $100 goodiebag box, or ie Vindictive helm turns into crystal helm. MISC Changes ::thread is now usable from in-game when searching for a guide or post on the forums. Just type ::thread 3519 (Example) and it will take you to Forums Post Number 3519 Human Pet and Human Pet Superior has been fixed and will now attack with you. Can new view your DropRate on items in the NPC Drop Table Checker. Tick the "Display w/ Drop Rate Bonus" on the top left.
